Judaics
Research shows the importance of early childhood experiences–from birth through 5 years–on a child’s future growth and development.
Exposure to Judaism at home and in childcare can help children to grow up with a strong Jewish identity. This is our primary mission at Jewish Beginnings.
Music
All children are musical. All children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. Our music program introduces children to new songs and rhythms and helps them develop confidence in their musical experience.
Art
The creative arts are activities that engage a child’s imagination and can include activities such as art, dance, puppetry, and music. They stimulate and help children cultivate their abilities across virtually every domain, and they are open-ended activities, fostering flexibility of the mind.
Movement
Movement allows children to connect concepts to action and to learn through trial and error.
At Jewish Beginnings we endeavor to integrate movement throughout the day, using Music & Movement, and other movement activities.
